Is it possible to enjoy working out? Are you one who absolutely dreads the thought of working out? Are you one who just can't seem to eliminate the internal blocks to working out? Does working out seem like a job to you? Using the tips that I provide you with can provide you with the inspiration and motivation to allow working out to work for you. Using these strategies you could find yourself enjoying working out. Remember any time you are incorporating any type of workout plan into your life you need to consult your physician.
1. Get Your Mind Right:
Change your mindset! This is very critical to eliminating the internal blocks that will keep you from thinking that your workout can be fun. You have to switch your thinking and begin to think about the great benefits that working out will bring to your life. Begin to think about how working out will contribute to your weight success. Develop mindset strategies that will get you excited and motivated about working out. Power up your mind and this can lead you to becoming motivated to power up your body.
2. Don't Do It Alone:
If you have a family member or friend who will work out with you this can make working out fun, and keep you motivated. You can look at this as time to bond or spending fun time with your family member or friend. When you work out with someone you also have someone to be accountable to. You have someone to help keep you on track. I remember the days that I would meet my sister, cousin and friends and we would have a prayer walk every morning. Before we knew it we would have walked a few miles. It was awesome because we were accountable to one another, bonding, spending time with God and getting our work out in.
3. My Gospel Groove:
One of the things that I do is to dance and workout to gospel music. I call this my "gospel groove." If I say "working out" sometimes it doesn't get me as motivated as if I say "I am getting ready to do my gospel groove." Sometimes I am dancing and moving to gospel music and I literally have to stop or I will probably be going at it most of the day. This is because the gospel music is also ministering to my spirit. So it is not like a workout at all. It is time for me to worship and praise God.
