This type of bariatric surgery is very likely to give you many side-effects as this surgery interferes with the functioning of some metabolic activities. This can lead to problems. Having this surgery is very expensive and most insurance companies will not cover the surgery.

• Bowel obstruction, constipation, or other changed bowel habits
• Obstruction in your stomach outlet as in post surgery the outlet reduces in size substantially so if you do not chew your food properly it could become stuck. Basically anything that is bigger than the outlet can obstruct the passage.
